WoW Forever Druid guide, levels 1 to 20: spells, first talents and Legacy

A Druid is a Night Elf or High Order Skyborne on the Alliance side and a Tauren or Windshaper Skyborne on the Horde side. Skyborne come with the Skyborne Heroic Pack and the packs that include it. Best race for a Druid compares their racials. A new Druid already knows Wrath and Healing Touch. At level 10, the Moonglade quests ending with Body and Heart teach Bear Form, Growl and Maul. Power over Poison teaches Cure Poison at level 14. The Aquatic Form quest teaches Aquatic Form at level 16. At level 20, the quest chain The Great Cat Spirit teaches Cat Form, Prowl, Claw and Rip; Skyborne take The Great Windborne Cat Spirit instead. Your class trainer teaches every other spell in the level list, and each new rank, once you reach its level. Your first talent point comes at level 10, or earlier with the Legacy perk Talented.

Where can your first talent points go?
From your first talent point on, you get one at every level. The first row of each tree is open from the first point; the effects below are for each talent's first rank:
-
Balance

- Genesis (max 5): Increases the periodic damage and healing done by your spells and abilities by 1%.
-
Feral Combat
- Ferocity (max 5): Reduces the cost of your Maul, Primal Bite, Swipe, Claw, and Rake abilities by 1 Rage or Energy.
- Heart of the Wild (max 5): Increases your Intellect by 2%. In addition, while in Bear Form or Dire Bear Form your Stamina is increased by 4% and while in Cat Form your Strength is increased by 2%.
-
Restoration
- Nature's Focus (max 5): Gives you a 14% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while casting Arcane and Nature spells.
- Furor (max 5): Gives you a 20% chance to gain 10 Rage when shapeshifting into Bear Form or Dire Bear Form. Shapeshifting into Cat Form restores 20% of the Energy you had when last in Cat Form, plus 2 Energy per sec spent outside Cat Form, up to 20 Energy.
Bear Form and Dire Bear Form forfeit this Energy and halt its restoration while active. The October 15 beta update lets you keep this Energy when you shift into Bear Form. This form still stops Energy regeneration.
