Azeroth DBWoW Forever Invite-A-Friend codes: how many you get, how a friend redeems one
The Skyborne Heroic Pack, the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection, bought for your own account on the Battle.net Shop, include Invite-A-Friend codes. A friend who redeems one plays WoW Forever free from launch on November 4 through November 11, 2026, without a subscription or game time.
When do the codes arrive?
From October 20, 2026 (PST), at the email address registered to your Battle.net account. Each code arrives in a separate email. If you buy an upgrade after October 20, its codes arrive shortly after the purchase.
If nothing arrives, check your junk and spam folders, then check that your upgrade order shows Complete in your Battle.net Transaction History. A failed order sends no codes.
How many codes does each upgrade grant?
| Purchase | Codes |
|---|---|
| Skyborne Heroic Pack | 1 |
| Skyborne Epic Pack | 3 |
| Warcraft Forever Collection | 3 |
| Upgrade from Heroic to Epic or to Collection | 2 more, 3 in total |
| Upgrade from Epic to Collection | No additional codes |
| Collector's Edition from the Blizzard Gear Store | 3, on top of codes from a digital upgrade |
After the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection, the Collector's Edition brings the total to six codes. The Collector's Edition codes come from Legends, the store's seller, to the email address used for that order, together with its beta code. A Collector's Edition bought from a local retailer in Korea, Australia or New Zealand grants no codes, and gift orders grant none.
What does a code give your friend?
The World of Warcraft account that redeems the code can play WoW Forever from the launch on November 4, 2026 through November 11, 2026. A code does not give:
- the Skyborne races or their Zephras Isle starting quests,
- game time or access to any other version of World of Warcraft,
- access to the WoW Forever beta,
- early name reservation, which belongs to upgrade owners.
A friend on a code picks from the races every account has: Alliance or Horde lists them with their classes.
How does a friend redeem a code?
Copy the code from the email and send it to the friend. They redeem it on the Battle.net website or in the Battle.net app, on one World of Warcraft account, by November 11, 2026; after that date the code returns an error.
A code cannot be redeemed on an account that bought any WoW Forever upgrade, so send it to a friend who owns none. Ask which account they will play on before they redeem it: Blizzard Customer Support cannot move a code redeemed on the wrong account.
What can stop a code from working?
- Access from a code ends on November 11, 2026. A World of Warcraft subscription or game time also gives access to WoW Forever, so a friend who keeps playing needs one of them.
- A refund or chargeback of your upgrade order deactivates its codes.
- Blizzard Customer Support does not replace a lost code or one already redeemed on another Battle.net account.
The launch dates, upgrade contents and name reservation dates are in WoW Forever launches November 4.
