WoW Forever beta: access, installation and what you can play

The World of Warcraft: Forever beta is open. Opting in gives you a chance of an invitation; it is not a guarantee. The Skyborne Epic Pack and Warcraft Forever Collection include beta access.

Getting into the beta

Selected accounts are flagged for access. In the Battle.net app, select World of Warcraft, open the Game Version menu above Play, and choose Forever Beta under In Development. Install it, select a test realm and create a test character. Eligible bundle access can take up to 30 minutes to appear; restarting the launcher may help.

Verify an invitation through your Battle.net game-account licenses rather than trusting an email link.

Available content and dates

The opening cap is level 20, with level 30 planned later. Initial content includes Skyborne, Zephras Isle, Hall of Thanes and Ruins of Lordaeron. October 21 is the last full testing day. A temporary open Server Slam is planned, but its date has not been announced.
