WoW Forever secrets and hidden quests: every discovery so far

WoW Forever’s beta already hides a sleeping bag quest that crosses both continents, a serpent form for druids, a sword that mages build from a scroll, 40 library books, an axe that mines without Mining and a frog that sings back. Beta players report most of them starting between levels 14 and 21. The rest, including a level 60 ring set and the spring 2027 legendary, exist in the game files but cannot be earned yet.

Which secrets can you earn in the beta now?

Beta players have earned each of these.

Which rewards exist only in the game files?

These appear in the beta client, but nobody has earned them in play yet.

  • Band of the Better Half, a level 60 epic ring that completes Partners in Crime. Wearing both rings adds 20 Strength and a chance to become Angry for 50 more Strength.
  • The Blessing of Kalimdor set, three leveling pieces whose bonus adds 5% movement speed in the Barrens and Stonetalon Mountains.
  • Five higher library rewards, including the Antique Bulwark shield and two off-hands that require level 40.
  • A legendary questline built around a branch of Nordrassil, with Stormwraith, Sylvestris and the Hyjal raids. Blizzard has confirmed only that a legendary arrives in spring 2027.

In which order should you chase them while leveling?

Worked example for a character leveling from 1 to 30:

  1. On a Skyborne character, sing to the frogs on Zephras Isle before leaving the island.
  2. At level 14, run the Cozy Sleeping Bag chain. The bag pays for itself on every later level, so earlier is better.
  3. Pick up library books whenever your route passes one; ten books is a realistic target by level 30.
  4. At levels 17 and 18, run The Deadmines for Rockslicer and the First Mate Band, and keep the ring even after you replace it.
  5. Around level 20, druids farm the Fang set in Wailing Caverns, and Forsaken paladins start Wolf’s Bane in Silverpine Forest.
  6. From level 21, mages farm the Blade of Silverlaine in Shadowfang Keep while deciphering scrolls for the Scroll of the Saber.

How do you keep track of dungeon rewards?

Add each dungeon drop as a goal in the dungeon loot planner. Goals stay with your character, so every run shows which of the Fang pieces, Rockslicer or the Blade of Silverlaine you still need. Compare a new drop with what you wear in the equipment comparison before replacing anything, because the First Mate Band keeps its value at level 60.

Can these secrets still change before launch?

The beta runs until October 21 and Forever launches on November 4, so any of these rewards can still change. New finds arrive in WoW Forever news.
