How to get the Musical Gustjumper, WoW Forever’s singing frog pet
The Musical Gustjumper is a companion pet hidden on Zephras Isle, the Skyborne starting zone. Go to the five frogs sitting on a rock at 51.5, 72.1 and type /sing. A frog hops onto the log beside you, and clicking it gives you the Musical Gustjumper. The scene is a tribute to the Fabulous Five Froggish Tenors from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Where are the singing frogs on Zephras Isle?
The frogs sit together on a rock at 51.5, 72.1 on Zephras Isle. Zephras Isle is where every High Order Skyborne and Windshaper Skyborne character begins, so a new Skyborne character can pick up the pet within the first few quests. The first quest of the island, Coming of Age, starts farther north at Thendal Grove.
How do you get the Musical Gustjumper?
- Stand next to the rock with the five frogs.
- Type /sing. One frog leaves the group and appears on the log next to you.
- Right-click the frog on the log to pick it up.
- Use the item in your bags to add the Musical Gustjumper to your collection.
The emote is all it takes. In Ocarina of Time, Link plays songs to five frogs on a log in the Zora River, and each song makes one of them grow. Forever swaps the ocarina for a character singing to five frogs on a rock.
Can other races get the frog?
Zephras Isle is reached through Skyborne character creation, so only Skyborne characters can stand at the rock. Players report that the frog is not bound to you until you learn it, which means a Skyborne character can sing several times and hand extra frogs to friends of other races.
Does the Musical Gustjumper do anything?
It is a companion pet with no combat effect: a small frog that follows you around. Its value is the story behind it, and it is the first new Zelda reference found in Forever.
Is it worth making a Skyborne just for the frog?
Worked example: a player who already plans a Skyborne alt should grab the pet during the first hour of Zephras Isle and sing a few extra times for friends. A player with no Skyborne plans can ask a Skyborne friend or guildmate for a spare frog instead of rolling a new character.
