WoW Forever profession perks: every Legacy perk for gatherers and crafters

The Professions branch of Legacy holds seven perks for gathering, crafting, fishing, vendor prices and crate turn-ins. Each character can spend at most 16 Legacy points in total across all branches, so a profession perk competes with the Adventure and Resourcefulness perks on the same character. Legacy points: main, alt and early talents explains how earned points and each character's allocation differ.

What does Dedicated Study need?

Dedicated Study has a single rank. It opens after 10 points in the branch and needs Bartering at rank 2: Increases your skill by 1 in your lowest tradeskill among your Primary and Secondary tradeskills. If you have already reached 300 skill in your two current Primary Tradeskills and all three Secondary Tradeskills, you will gain 2 to 4 of a random Elemental Essence.

Which perk serves which profession?

  • Mining, Herbalism and Skinning: Bountiful Harvest, the only perk that increases Scarce materials from those professions.
  • Cooking: Master Chef, the only perk that adds crafted results, and only for cooking recipes. The recipe planner uses each recipe's listed yield and reagents without counting this chance.
  • Fishing: Luremaster, and only while a lure is active.
  • Skill points: Working Overtime raises the chance of a skill point from a primary, secondary, or class-based tradeskill; Dedicated Study can add skill to your lowest primary or secondary tradeskill.
  • Buying from vendors: Bartering lowers vendor gold prices, crafting reagents included.
  • Crate turn-ins: Performance Bonus can increase Merchant's Favor when you turn in a crate.

Where does Reagent Economy sit?

Reagent Economy is not a profession perk. It belongs to the Resourcefulness branch, opens after 10 points there and needs The Quick and the Dead at rank 2: Your class abilities no longer require reagents purchaseable from vendors. It leaves profession recipes unchanged.

How do I plan perks for my main and alt?

Open the Legacy planner, choose perks for your main's professions, then switch to your alt to plan a different allocation with the same earned points.
