WoW Forever Legacy points: main, alt and early talents

Legacy points you have earned are one account total. The main and the alt each allocate from that total, and points spent on one character do not shrink the other's board. Open the Legacy planner, set the earned total, then give each character its own perks.
How many points can each character spend?
The earned total can be anywhere from 0 to 65. Each character can spend at most 16, and at most the number you marked as earned. Earn 10 and each character may allocate 10. Earn 16 and each may allocate 16. Earn 40 and each may still allocate only 16. Points above 16 stay on the earned total. They do not raise the spend cap, and they are not a pile you split between the two characters.
Five points of Well Rested on the main leave the alt's board empty. If 16 points are earned, the alt can still place 16 after the main has placed 16. Ranks have to exist on that perk and be learnable in order. A locked perk cannot supply the points needed to unlock itself.
What does Talented change?
Talented has five ranks. It requires Well Rested at rank 5, and 5 points already spent in the preceding Adventure perks. Well Rested at rank 5 is that gate. Talented then spends more of the same 16-point cap.
Rank 1 starts class talent points at level 9 instead of level 10, and the class total still cannot pass 51. Rank 2 starts them at level 8, rank 3 at level 7, rank 4 at level 6, and rank 5 at level 5. No rank adds points past 51.
Only the character who has Talented gets that start. A level 10 Mage on the main with Talented at rank 2 has 3 class talent points. The alt at level 10, without Talented, has 1. Check it on the Mage talent calculator. A level 60 character stays at 51 class points with or without the perk.
Which profession perks leave the shopping list alone?
Master Chef rank 1 gives cooking recipes a 10% chance of an extra result. Rank 5 says 50%. The bonus applies to cooking results, not Alchemy ingredients. It therefore does not reduce the vials needed for an elixir plan. The list multiplies each recipe's ingredients by the number of crafts you asked for.
Bountiful Harvest increases scarce materials from Mining, Herbalism and Skinning. It does not change an elixir's Empty Vial line. Reagent Economy covers vendor reagents on class abilities and tier 1 camping features. It does not rewrite Alchemy or Cooking recipes. Working Overtime raises the chance of a skill point. Recipes do not list that chance, so the planner cannot turn the perk into a number of crafts. Bartering reduces vendor prices. The crafting list is not a price.
How do you split the two characters?
Set the earned total to what the account has. A Mage who wants the earlier talent start puts 5 points in Well Rested, then buys as many Talented ranks as the remaining points allow. The alt can spend that same earned budget on a different board, including a profession perk, without clearing the main.
If a shared link no longer matches the perks on the page, the planner keeps the plan you already had.
Spend the class points Talented unlocked in talent points, levels and prerequisites. Count ingredients from the recipes in recipes and missing materials, not from a perk's extra-result chance.
