WoW Forever races for professions: the racials that help gatherers and crafters

Three racials in WoW Forever touch professions. None grants a profession skill bonus. Every race's racials lists the rest.
Which racials help a profession?
- Tauren, Cultivation: Cultivate a nearby herb, growing a duplicate you can harvest without requiring Herbalism skill. Each herb may only be cultivated once. The October 15 beta update cuts its cooldown to 15 minutes. It needs no Herbalism. Harvesting the duplicate gives that herb.
- Gnome, Engineering Specialization: Your gnomish ingenuity reduces the rate of engineering devices failing or backfiring when you use them by 20%.
- Dwarf, Find Treasure: it senses nearby treasure and marks it on your minimap until you cancel it. The October 15 beta update also gives it a chance to find additional items in most chests.
Which race suits which profession?
- Herbalism and Alchemy: a Tauren (Horde) harvests more herbs through Cultivation. Tauren can be Warrior, Hunter, Shaman, and Druid.
- Engineering: a Gnome (Alliance) has engineering devices fail or backfire less often. Gnomes can be Warrior, Rogue, Priest, Mage, and Warlock.
- Chests and treasure: a Dwarf (Alliance) finds treasure on the minimap and, after the update, has a chance to find additional items in most chests. Dwarves can be Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, and Shaman.
The other races have no profession-specific racials. Choose among them for your class and faction.
