Although it has varied uses, engineers in particular often take a keen interest in acquiring large quantities of it. · · While plantlife might make for a good nest for spiders, sometimes a web needs a solid foundation to support extra weight. The Spindlespiders of Khaz Algar often build up intricate webs on rocky outcrops, much to the dismay of arachnophobic miners. · · At least they offer an extra source of cloth!
