Midnight’s road ahead: Eclipse, housing changes and The Last Titan

Eclipse is Midnight’s announced final major update. The journey enters the Mantle Vault and the Worldcore, where the confrontation with Xal’atath continues the Worldsoul Saga. A launch date was not supplied in the panel recap.

Combat and progression

The announcements include the Worldcore raid, Thraegar’s Stand dungeon, the Gearhold lair and the Midnight’s Edge caster dagger. Defeating the raid is only part of acquiring the legendary. Season 3 follows Eclipse, with specialization-based top-1% and top-5% Mythic+ rewards.

Housing and future plans

Housing gains Showcase snapshots, visitor codes, mannequins, multi-select and copying décor when the required copies and dyes are owned. A Calibration Chamber is planned for group practice. Forsaken, Night Elf and Troll Paladins are also announced for Eclipse.

Later plans include cross-armor transmog and Wrath of the Lich King Remix. The Last Titan was teased as the next chapter, with more information planned for early next year—not a confirmed release date.
